What we collect

We collect the information you submit through one of the three enquiry forms.

Future residents

Name and email address, with country of residence and what you are looking for in a future home as optional fields.

Landowners and developers

Name, email address, your role and proposal, with organisation and city and country as optional fields.

Investors

Name, email address, primary interest and proposal, with organisation or family office as an optional field.

Each submission also records the language you were reading in and the date and time it was received. We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, financial account details, identity document numbers or any special category of personal data.

Why we use it, and on what basis

Your data is used for one purpose: to read your enquiry, assess whether it fits the first chapter of Edition 001 and reply to you. It is not used for marketing, profiling or automated decision-making.

The lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the confirmation box before you send the form, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a business approach you initiated. Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, these correspond to Article 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f).

Providing the data is voluntary. Without it we cannot answer you.

Who else sees it

The form is delivered by a script running on our own web hosting and sent directly to a Bitcoin Palace mailbox. It does not pass through a third-party form service, a marketing platform or a customer database.

The only third parties involved are our web hosting provider and our email provider, acting on our instructions as processors and only to the extent needed to run the website and deliver the message. We do not sell, rent or share personal data with anyone else.

If the data needs to be transferred outside your country in order to reach us, it is protected by appropriate safeguards and by the confidentiality obligations described here.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not progress are deleted within twenty-four months of the last contact. Enquiries that lead to a conversation are kept for as long as that relationship is live, and afterwards only for the period required by applicable commercial, tax or anti-money-laundering law.

You may ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no third-party tracking of any kind. Nothing is stored on your device and no profile of your visit is created.

Standard server logs, kept by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics, may record an abbreviated technical record of requests, including an IP address, for a short period.

How it is protected

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS with strict transport security. Submissions are validated on our own server, rate-limited by connection, and protected against automated abuse. Access to the enquiry mailbox is restricted to the people who need it.

No system is absolute. If a breach ever affected your data and posed a real risk to you, we would notify you and the competent authority as required by law.

Your rights

You may, at any time and free of charge:

  • ask what personal data of yours we hold, and receive a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • ask us to restrict or stop processing it;
  • withdraw your consent, without affecting what was lawful before;
  • receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Write to legal@dormantmatrix.com. We answer within thirty days. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office or, where the General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, to your national supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new date above. Material changes affecting how we use data you already sent us will be communicated directly.

Aggregated demand

Requests from future residents are aggregated anonymously (country, reservation preference, recurring themes) to study demand for Edition 001 and choose its site. Personal data stays in our mailbox and is shared with partners only as aggregated figures, with a minimum of five requests per bracket.

External services

When the page loads, your browser requests the typefaces from Google Fonts and the block height from mempool.space; both services receive your IP address to serve that request. The next version of the site serves fonts and block from our own server.
